Under the collaborative name Alridge, long time partners Lisa Ridgers and Penny Alspaugh join forces to create unique and vibrant creations. One artist is influenced by the diverse scenery of her frequent travels around the world, while the other is driven by the urban vibrancy of Chicago. Although their work is very different stylistically, the artists have combined their strengths to create a new aesthetic filled with bold hues, richness and energy.

Ridgers' strong foundation in painting has given the artistic duo a base of knowledge necessary to test new techniques and methods. Their recent body of work was forged from their desire to create something truly brilliant that speaks to the viewer through a pair of unique voices.
