"I snapped my first Chicago scene in 1938, and I haven’t stopped yet.  Before retiring in 1988, I worked in several commercial photo studios.  After retirement, I entered national shows and exhibits, both for photography and mixed media art.  The art mediums I’ve worked with besides photography include: acrylic on canvas and “art from junk”- a mixed media approach to bits of metal and plastic that I’ve salvaged and mounted onto plywood.

Throughout the years, my work has been exhibited several times at the Thompson Center and the Chicago Cultural Center by Senior Artists Network (SAN).  Additionally, in 1991 and 1994, I had exhibits at the ARC gallery entitled “Photos of Chicago in the 1940’s and 1950’s and “Art from Junk Discarded objects Used Again.”  My work is currently cataloged at Chicago Art Source Gallery and has been included in several group shows."
